Teacher’s Statement

I love art, and I love yoga.

I was trained as a musical theatre actress at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where I earned my BFA and graduated with honors, and previously trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. Having performed in both New York and Los Angeles, I came to yoga looking for a way to manage the pressure and lack of control I was feeling as a young actress.

I have found my life’s passion in the integration of art and spiritual practice. Migrating from New York to Los Angeles, I spent five years studying, teaching and practicing Kundalini yoga in the LA community, and two years helping to launch a new community in my hometown of Boulder, Colorado. Since that time, I have developed my own style of teaching Kundalini yoga that both respects its sacred heritage, and is born from the belief that spiritual practice is really about the inner alignment of the individual.

For me, Kundalini is a tool to help me become a better actress, a better singer and a better dancer. Which it does, everyday. My spiritual practice is a private relationship of honor and grace that I hold with myself, designed to best support my day.

“Spirituality” is about finding your voice, your inner teacher. It’s about allowing your inner artist to flourish fully, with an unhindered passion and freedom.

It’s about creating true wealth in your life… on all levels.

Be yourself. Allow your yoga to serve as a tool to bring more of you into full manifestation in this world.

Be everything that you are here to be.

Join me for a yoga class, or private session, if you’d like to relish in the brilliance of you, and treat yourself to something that will make you feel good and aligned and self-nurtured…

Because that’s really what it’s all about.
